Very close to the Old and the St. Francis of Assisi's Squares, the elegant Raquel hotel captivates with its harmonious Art Nouveau style. The beauty and sensuality of this romantic ambiance coexist with other expressive eclectic elements in its architecture. Its biblical name and some of its spaces evoke the Hebrew culture. The building was built in 1905 and conceived for offices, a warehouse and a fabric store. In 1908, it expanded to have its present-day look. It consists of 25 rooms, which have been carefully designed with a great comfort and decorated with paintings by well-known Cuban painters. An impressive skylight rounds off the atmosphere of this charming place. For the most exclusive of tastes, the Raquel hotel offers its grace without equal.
