Emblematic Hotel Nacional de Cuba means pride for Havana and admiration from foreigners. Located just off La Rampa, this is Cubas Grand Hotel, opened in 1930. It has accommodated luminaries from Winston Churchill to Marlon Brando. In the 50s, Meyer Lansky oversaw Cubas gambling empire from his casinos in the Nacional. The hotel also includes the famous Parisien Cabaret, providing one of the best shows and nightclub in Havana. The Nacional retains the elegance it had when it played a central part in Cuban history.
